Averøy
Averoy is a short trip through the Atlantic Ocean Tunnel, and we treat it as our local area \u2014 the travel is included in the price.
A good number of houses here take the weather head on, and it shows in the bathrooms. We spend extra time in two places: the fall towards the drain, and the joint between membrane and wall. That is where moisture usually finds its way in, and where a job that looks fine can fail after five years.
We photograph the membrane before the tile goes on, so you have documentation of what is underneath. If you have a cabin or boathouse standing empty over winter, we will say at the site visit whether the build-up should be done differently from a year-round home.
Averøy
Four trades, one firm.
Alma Service takes wet room work in Averøy — from a single repair to the whole build-up of a bathroom. We stick to the four layers we know best: the substrate, the membrane, the masonry and the tile.
The advantage of one firm across all four is that nobody can blame the previous trade. Get the base right and the rest lasts for decades.
- One contact person throughout the project
- A written price before we start
- A tidy site — we clean up every day
- Documentation of everything under the tile
Services
What we do in Averøy.
- TilingTile on floors and walls in every format — on a substrate built to hold it there.
- Waterproof membraneThe layer that keeps water where it belongs. A mistake here is the most expensive one in the room.
- Floor levellingA flat floor with the correct fall to the drain. Without it grout cracks and water stands.
- MasonryWalls, shower niches, benches and built-ins that take both the moisture and the weight of the tile.
- Bathroom renovationThe whole wet room built up layer by layer — from strip-out to the last grouted tile.
- Tiler in KristiansundThe same four trades in Kristiansund.
- Tiler in TingvollThe same four trades in Tingvoll.
- Tiler in GjemnesThe same four trades in Gjemnes.
